The New Deal With SOLARiS at The Westcott Theater, 10/28
On Wednesday October 28th, The New Deal will be performing with SOLARiS at The Westcott Theatre in Syracuse, NY.
The New Deal recently released a couple tracks off their upcoming Fall 2015 studio released album titled “Mercury Switch” and “Sabotage the System. The songs offer a preview of their upcoming album, and bassist Dan Kurtz describes it as their “most creative endeavor” to date.
With over 1,400 epic late nights at sold out clubs and triumphant festivals under their belt, The New Deal returns with a passion this year as they head on tour. Hailing from Toronto in 1999, the group quickly gained recognition in the underground club scene as they recreated their DJ electronica experience with live, improvised performances including drum and bass, electro-house, and trance.
Alongside The New Deal will be SOLARiS – a three-piece all-instrumental band formed in 2010 from upstate New York. The members of Solaris have created quite original composition ranging from electronica to breakbeats, jazz fusion to funk, and much more. The band is also known for gaining inspiration for upcoming new music from their live performances, and hopes to create new twists on their material as they continue to tour and play shows.
