This Was Tomorrow – Full Length TomorrowLand Motion Picture 2015
TomorrowLand is one of the largest festivals in the world. Held in Belgium, tickets have sold out for this fest in record time for the past 10 years. Earlier this year, the TomorrowLand festival crossed an ocean and went to Brazil. TomorrowLand Brazil had over 180,000 walk through its magical gates. TomorrowWorld, held in Chattahoochee Hills, GA, is the largest 21+ camp out festival in the US. So, what makes the Tomorrow name so popular? Why are these festivals in such high attendance? The lineup obviously can account for some of that, with a fully electronic lineup in a time where electronic music has infiltrated almost every genre. However, a lineup can only go so far. There are a set of values brought forth by the People of Tomorrow, and this year UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon delivered a special message to the People of Tomorrow honoring the similarities between Tomorrowland and The United Nations. All of these facts come together in one full length motion picture titled This Was Tomorrow.
This Was Tomorrow documents the values of Tomorrow, the people of Tomorrow, and everything in between. The world premiere screening for the film was in Belgium, and over 10,000 were in attendance. Starting today December 1, 2015 and ending December 14, 2015, the people of Tomorrow can view the full length film on the TomorrowLand website. Again, the People of Tomorrow get to give to the people of Tomorrow. See what Ban Ki-moon had to say this year in the video below and check out This Was Tomorrow here.
