Vibes adds Nigel Hall & Eric Krasno! Both Joining Lettuce, With Krasno sitting in with Warren Haynes & the Seaside Allstars
Gathering of the Vibes is so close it is palpable. Now just to sweeten the deal the Vibe Tribe will be graced with two undeniably fantastic sit ins. Guitar master Eric Krasno and funk soul virtuoso Nigel Hall will join Lettuce on stage Saturday night. Prior to that the much anticipated Warren Haynes and the Seaside Allstars will be augmented by Krasno on the Main Stage! Saturday night’s lineup is shaping up to be a night of music to remember.
The VibeTribe is anxiously awaiting the end of July, when Gathering of the Vibes will finally take place in Bridgeport, CT. for it’s 20th year.
The daily schedule has released in case you want to plan out your festival fun- a more organized option than just playing it by ear, which is also encouraged!
The 2015 lineup is an impressive one this summer, with a recent headliner addition ofWarren Haynes set to lead an ultimate superjam titled Warren Haynes and the Seaside AllStars. The collaboration is set to honor the festival’s 20th year running, dubbed “The Vibes 20th Anniversary Spectacular”.
The Allman Brother’s Band /Govn’t Mule legend will be performing 2 sets- accompanied by notable artists in the jam scene including George Porter Jr.(The Meters), Branford Marsalis (Branford Marsalis Quartet), Joe Russo and Marco Benevento (The Menevento/Russo Duo), and Jackie Greene (The Black Crowes).
Other Vibes artist’s include The String Cheese Incident with special guests David Grisman and Peter Rowan, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Weezer, The Gaslight Anthem, Lettuce, Kung Fu, Trevor Hall, Earphunk, and much more.
As a whole, Gathering of the Vibes will host nearly 50 bands on various stages throughout the 350-acre historic Seaside Park nested along the Long Island Sound. In addition to the music will be other activities for attendees such as food and craft vendors, Ferris Wheel rides, a Non-Profit Village, and shoreline strolls for those who enjoy those scenic, long walks on the beach. Kids and families are also welcome.
Tickets are available for the full weekend and include admission to the festival and onsite camping. Other ticket options are also available, like VIP packages (with added perks) and single-day passes.
