Vujaday Music Festival Phase 2 Lineup Out Now! Tickets and Travel Packages on Sale
If you haven’t heard of Vujaday Music Festival, it’s because this is its first year. Vujaday means “an entirely new experience” and “like nothing you have ever seen or felt before.” It is more than just a bunch of people dancing on a beach, it is a full 5 days of experiencing one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. The first wave of the festival lineup included Art Department, Francesca Lombardo, Green Velvet, Justin Martin, Lee Burridge, Lee Foss, and more. The second phase of the lineup is out now! Plus, travel packages and early bird tickets are available now starting at just $199 for GA festival passes. The second wave of the lineup includes Mark Knight, Nathan Barato, atish, Behrouz, Cassy, YokoO, Gaby Endo, Danny Howells, Darren Emerson, Dave Seaman, Salomé, Nitin, Lost Boy, and m.O.N.R.O.E.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring a major electronic festival to Barbados…The island is brimming with a vivid culture and amazing sights to take in, and we wanted to make sure that the festival format allowed for guests to experience more than just a single location while enjoying music from around the world.” Ryan Kruger, Vujaday co-founder and president of The RKET Group.
What makes Vujaday so special is how the whole event is set up. First, the festival isn’t at one single location, but several locations across the island. This allows festival attendees to see the whole of Barbados, inviting locals and internationals alike to dance together. Second, the festival spans over several days, rather than a single weekend. Those traveling from afar are invited to spend the day before and the day after the festival to explore the island. The festival encourages attendees to take a full holiday, which is pretty cool.
“This unique format will keep the festival fresh for both tourists and locals alike, giving those new to the island a much wider experience than they would normally get on a typical holiday. These five events will run from Wednesday through Sunday during Vujaday with the largest event on Saturday. Events will take place at Farley Hill, Holetown, South Beach Zone, and the East and West coasts of the island.”
Vujaday takes place April 4-8th, 2018 in Barbados. Check out the website for more info and travel ideas.
